First semester was both fun and hectic. Just after Gate i was in an IIT full of enthusiasm and energy. I had taken 4 subjects, namely advance ds, Softwares lab, Introduction to logic and functional programming and artificial intelligence. AI(artificial intelligence) by prof. Mausam was really hectic. We all dropped it just before the major exams as we were not allowed to audit a Btech course. But we learnt a lot of things from the AI course, assignments were just awesome...
ADS (Advance Data Structures), Prof. Sandeep Sen was teaching us this course. He is one of the brilliant of minds and teachers one can ever find. He will bridge the gap your 3 tier college knowledge and IITs. If you miss his classes then get ready to get screwed. You won't find the things taught in class anywhere else so easily. His classes were held at 8am in the morning. It was really difficult to attend his classes at this early in the morning. But somehow we managed to do this !!!. I missed only 1 of his classes because i slept. If you get late to his classes just by 5 minutes then better don't enter his class else he would simply throw you out. So it's better to leave from the door itself if you are late. He gave us a delicious treat in one of the Roof tops of Bharti Building in the end.....I got 8/10 in this course. It was the highest grade given by him !!!

Softwares Lab was taken by Prof. Sarangi himself, our Mtech Coordinator. The course consist of 3 assignments. A latex to html converter, Paratroopers game and Mozilla Build. The assignments were just awesome. Finally we got a lot f things to write in our resume after this course. Debanjan our beloved senior was the TA for the course. It was fun. I was working with Aditya Mishra as team. Prof. Sarangi gave me 10/10 CGPA in this course. I was delighted !!!He also gave a treat at the end of the course.
ILFP (Introduction to logic and functional programming) was taught by Prof. Saroj Ma'am. This was the last course taught by her as she was about to retired after that. She was really fast. But lenient at the same time. She scolded me friendly in the first class itself because i told her that hostel don't give non-veg food, hehe... She gave me 8/10. I wasn't expecting more and i could hardly give much time to this course because of other courses and my TA duty. I will definitely miss you a lot ma'am.
In first semester my TA duty was really heavy. I was TA for col 100 under prof. Parag and prof. Sorav Bansal. They are the charms of IIT Delhi. I was awarded as the best TA in the end by them with a delicious treat. Luckily due to my efforts, Both of them offered me to work under them for my mtech project. I chosed to work under prof. Parag singla because of my interest in machine learning.
2nd Semester......
This was tough for me. My energy was down unlike first semester. I took 3 courses, Machine Learning, Minor Project and Numerical Algorithms. NA(Numerical Algorithms) was really difficult to handle as the teaching methodology was really fast and we were not able to grasp it. The teacher, Rahul Narain, was brilliant but lacked teaching skills. To save my grades i finally dropped it after minor 1 exams. I won't recommend this course along with Machine Learning. Too hectic.
Machine Learning was taught by Prof. Parag himself, my minor project guide also. He is awesome and very down to earth person. His classes are also just awesome. But bit mathematical !!!... I got 9/10 in Machine Learning.
I got 10/10 in my minor project. I built a IITD NEWS READER as part of my minor project. I also got a chance to visit CODS-COMAD conference because of my guide. He is really awesome. Never scolded me for anything unlike others. He is a just a gem. I like working under his guidance so so much.
Up next placements are coming and also i have to take one extra subject to makeup for Numerical algortihms. So next semester it would be really hard for me. Currently i am rank 1 and also gate rank opener in my batch which would be beneficial in placements. Working under Prof. Parag has also added benefits to it.
I am currently resting at home sweet home while writing this. Soon on 24th may 2019 i would be leaving for IIT Delhi. In the scorching heat i have to work !!!
3rd Semester....
Once again it was hectic like never before. As the placement season was heating up so i had to work really hard. Also as i had dropped NA(Numerical algorithms) i had to take Parallel programming course along with Cloud computing. It was really hectic. i got a heavy TA work too. The prof. was really rude about the TA duty. Somehow i managed !!! I knew after this semester life would be as chill as possible. I was also the placement coordinator of CS department. So i had to give extra time for that also. Damn hectic and busy life. But in the end i just loved everything. I was overjoyed when my whole batch got placed in just first 4 days. My project suffered a bit. I couldn't do much progress. Still Parag sir gave me a 9. I am really thankful to him !!!
4th Semester....
As chill as possible. Just 1 credit course subject. Nothing else. Just the Mtech project. Just killing my time coding and helping people. Waiting for the new corporate life to start soon. Doing parties almost like 4 days a week. Bday parties, placements parties and what not !!!
